Dan In Real Life Questions
5. How old do you think someone should be to date? Fall In Love?
Anyone can date. But real dating I believe can happen when two individuals can truly appreciate another for them and not the idea of them. I believe the basis of love is friendship and seeing / knowing each other for they are. But if it's an age you want from me then fine, 17 and plus (or whenever you get your licence). As logic goes, I believe you should be able to drive yourself to your first real date or be responsible enough to find a ride on your own. If that means your parents, then okay. But I mean you need to have options outside your parents as well. Can your friends drive? Are you responsible/old enough to call an uber? Sure. But to fall in love? I believe that's a different matter. it depends on the couple. But for a basis I'd say around 18 plus is a good starting age for me. But I don't judge couples who are 17 and claim to be in love. Not all the time. Sometimes I do. I don't know why you're asking the singleton of 18 years (how long I've been alive might I add).
8. What makes someone a 'hottie' to you?
If we're talking physical features then buckle your seat belts folks! I could write essay here! It would be in my best interest not to seem superficial here, and don't get me wrong, I do consider certain personality traits to be very very very attractive (I'll get into that later). But let's be real here, we gals and pals love talking to our friends every once in a while about that celebrity steaming up the screen or features we can't ignore.
Physically, eyes are something that have always affected my judgement. I don't necessarily discriminate or have a perfect guy image just because I live by a rule of giving everyone a chance, but if it's features we're talking, then let's do this. Eyes. Blue, Green, Brown. As long as it's a solid color, or prominent, it catches my attention. This probably had a hand in my celeb crush (and one of my favorite actors) Heath Ledger in 10 Things I Hate About You and Knight's Tale. I'm a physically fit person, so it's not that I demand a six pack or anything, but I do admire genuine effort to remain healthy in a significant other. As I said, physically there isn't much criteria, simply because I'm not one to discriminate based on appearance.
Personality wise, there are a few things that make my heart skip a few beats. I am a religious gal. In other words, I love God. When I went to a worship concert last year (Worship Outcry), my friends and I couldn't help but notice several cute guys once in a while. But what we agreed on is we found it 10x hotter when a guy loved Jesus as much as us. I find altruism a hot quality in anyone, so this might be related to that. Another trait to mention would probably be an interest in the arts, simply because I love reading, writing, drawing and listening to music. I'm an artsy gal. Be it nerdiness, drawing, or violinist, if you show passion about something like that, even gaming, a hobby, you've caught my interest. But I'd say what really turns my head is someone who wants to make you smile, laugh, etc. Humor of course, but someone who is nice to others. If he puts in effort to let me know he's interested, or to give me happiness, then that really moves me.
You asked the question, I gave you my full complicated, long answer. I swear I'm not a terrible human being. Kudos to you, assuming someone actually read all that.
